Every business and entrepreneur is different. That's why our coaching services are customized to your needs. Our coaching packages have been structured to correspond with creating a comprehensive business plan to make sure you cover all the most important steps needed to start or grow your business.

Your coaching package will be customized to your unique needs and preferences. While the package below is an example, our coaching process may not necessarily follow this exact structure. It's a guideline, not a course outline! With individual business coaching, everything depends on you - what you want to focus on and what will benefit you (and your business) the most!

New Entrepreneur Coaching Package

Session 1: Your Mindset as an Entrepreneur

Before your first session, you'll complete the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile assessment (EMP), a cutting-edge assessment tool based on extensive research into the traits, motivations and skills of entrepreneurs. Learn more about the EMP.

In the first session, we'll examine your entrepreneurial mindset. What are your strengths? What are some of the challenges you'll face? Your mindset and belief in yourself is key to your success as an entrepreneur. Gaining a strong understanding of your entrepreneurial strengths and skills will help you prepare for success.

Session 2: Your Business Idea & Your Offer

Whether you've got a clear business idea or if it's still not entirely finalized, this session will cover off on developing and refining your idea. What products or services will your business offer? Who will your customers be? We'll establish and clarify these building blocks of your business here.

Session 3: Doing the Research - Your Target Market & Competitive Analysis

Building on the products/services you'd like to promote, this session will be focused on defining the market for your products and/or services. Who is your target market? Who are your competitors? Finally, we'll develop a strategy for you to do the research required to develop a clear strategy to reach your target market and stand apart from the competition.

Session 4: Marketing & Sales Strategy

Now that you've defined products/services, the competitive market, and your target customers, how will you reach them? How will you promote and sell your products? What's your value proposition? Possibly the most important part of any business is how to get customers, and we'll work on your marketing and sales strategy to do just that.

Session 5: Financial, Risk, & Operations Plan

A key part of launching your business is developing a financial and operational plan. What costs are you likely to incur? How will you manage business and financial planning? What risks should you prepare for? While you may not think this is the most exciting part of your business plan, it may be the most important to the success of your business.

Session 6: Finalizing Your Business Plan

In this last session, we'll put everything together and discuss your overall business plan. There may be specific areas you'd like to focus on, whether it's marketing strategy, operational planning, or your own entrepreneurial mindset. We'll develop a strategy for you to finalize your plan and put it into action.

The EMP is an empirically-based, cutting-edge assessment tool based on extensive research into the traits, motivations and skills of entrepreneurs. The EMP helps individuals and groups assess the degree to which they are utilizing an “entrepreneurial mindset.”
Accompanying each EMP Feedback Report is the EMP Development Guide which helps participants synthesize their results and plan a course of action. The Development Guide includes interpretive material about each of the 14 scales, suggestions for development, recommended resources and guidelines for successful action planning.

I'm Vida Thomson and I founded Flourish Career Consulting to help my clients find career success. I have a 10+ year background in Human Resources Management, along with extensive experience managing employee transitions.

My background include certifications in Digital Marketing and Psychometric Assessments. I know how challenging and stressful it can be to launch your own business - I did it myself back in 2017! Since then, I've navigated and overcome numerous challenges, including a pandemic.
